Samsung sent this device to famous you tubers for reviews and experience impressions. After a week famous you tuber Marques Brown-lee uploaded the picture of Galaxy Fold with Cracked display at the bottom which before that other you tubers also begins complaining that their device is also cracked. So the cause behind that is there are some weak points at the top and bottom of the fold.
Samsung said that damage “could be associated with impact on the top and bottom exposed areas of the hinge. There was also an instance where substances found inside the device affected the display performance.” There is a thin plastic protector layer on display of phone and also adhesive substance layer under plastic protector.
when those you tubers tries to peal off the plastic layer the substance sticks to the display and makes cracks in it which causes the cracks at the top or bottom of weak points on fold area.

So the official statements from Samsung they would delays Galaxy Fold indefinitely and will strengthen the display with many changes to the phone before releasing it publicly.
